Russian drone attacks struck the Ukrainian city of Nikopol, killing at least five people and wounding dozens more in the latest wave of overnight strikes. Both Kyiv and Moscow reported additional casualties from continuing nocturnal attacks as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine intensifies. The strikes on Nikopol, located in southeastern Ukraine near the front lines, represent part of an escalating pattern of drone warfare that has characterized the ongoing war since Russia's invasion began in February 2022.
