European Council President Calls on Sarajevo to Accelerate Reforms and Continue EU Integration
Share:
European Council President António Costa urged Bosnia and Herzegovina to accelerate its reform efforts and continue its European integration process during his visit to Sarajevo. The European Council, which represents the heads of state and government of EU member countries, plays a key role in setting the bloc's political direction and priorities. Costa's visit to the Bosnian capital is part of a broader tour of Western Balkan countries this week, which will also include stops in Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia. The Western Balkans region remains a priority for EU enlargement, with these countries at various stages of the accession process that requires extensive political, economic, and judicial reforms to meet European standards.
