Slovak Fuel Prices Hold Steady, Remain Among Highest in Central Europe
Share:
Fuel prices at Slovak petrol stations remained unchanged week-on-week, with no significant movement in either petrol or diesel costs. However, Slovakia continues to rank near the top of the Visegrád Group — the regional bloc comprising Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary — with average diesel and petrol prices both recording the second-highest levels among the four countries. The persistently elevated prices compared to regional neighbours may draw attention from consumers and policymakers, particularly as fuel costs directly affect household budgets and transportation expenses across the country.
