Slovak Foreign Minister Becomes First Slovak Official to Attend Organization of American States Meeting

Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár made history as the first Slovak government minister to attend a session of the Organization of American States (OAS), the intergovernmental body representing 35 member states across the Americas. Speaking at the meeting in Panama, Blanár emphasized the importance of international cooperation and dialogue. The OAS, founded in 1948 and headquartered in Washington D.C., serves as the primary political forum for countries in the Western Hemisphere.
