
Žilina Region Adjusts Budget to Over €332 Million

The Žilina self-governing region in northwestern Slovakia has revised its annual budget upward, pushing total spending past €332 million. The adjustment included a nearly €1.8 million increase in capital expenditures, with the additional funds directed toward development and investment projects across the region. Regional governments in Slovakia, known as self-governing regions or kraje, manage public services including secondary education, social care, and regional infrastructure.
