Kim Jae-youl has been re-elected as president of the International Skating Union (ISU), the global governing body for figure skating and speed skating. Kim, who is from South Korea, holds the distinction of being the first non-European leader in the organization's 130-year history. The ISU, founded in 1892, oversees international competitions including Olympic skating events and world championships across both figure skating and speed skating disciplines.
