The Partnership Council for Integrated Territorial Development of the Bratislava Region has approved a new round of project proposals aimed at improving energy efficiency, expanding green and blue infrastructure, and developing cycling and sustainable transport networks across the region. The approvals came during the council's 17th session, where members greenlit initiatives focused on reducing energy consumption in public buildings, creating and upgrading green spaces and water-related urban features, expanding cycling routes, and promoting sustainable mobility options for residents of the Bratislava region. The Partnership Council is a regional governance body that oversees coordinated investment and development planning for the Bratislava area, drawing on European Union structural funds and national resources. Its decisions help direct public investment toward long-term sustainability and infrastructure goals aligned with EU environmental and climate targets. The approved projects are part of a broader regional strategy to modernize public facilities and improve quality of life while reducing the area's carbon footprint.
