Slovak Book Competition Draws Record 15,000 Student Entries Nationwide

The "Let's Bring Books Back to Schools" competition achieved record participation this year, receiving more than 15,000 submissions from young readers across Slovakia. The Bratislava Self-Governing Region, along with other regional governments and the Malokarpatská organization, organized the initiative to promote reading among students in the digital age. The competition reflects growing efforts by Slovak educational authorities to counter declining reading habits among youth and emphasize the continued importance of books despite the prevalence of digital media.
