Slovak swimmer Slušná improved her own national record in the 50-meter backstroke at a domestic swimming competition. In the men's 200-meter butterfly event at the Marián Filčák Memorial — a Slovak swimming competition held in honor of the late Slovak swimmer Marián Filčák — Samuel Košťáľ took first place with a time of 2:01.20.
