Two Aircraft Diverted or Make Emergency Landings at Bratislava Airport

Two separate incidents forced unplanned landings at Bratislava's M. R. Štefánik Airport on Sunday. In the first incident, a flight traveling from Catania, Sicily, to Gdańsk, Poland, was diverted to Bratislava after a crew member fell ill during the flight. The aircraft landed in the Slovak capital as a precautionary measure to allow the affected crew member to receive medical attention. A second aircraft also landed at the airport due to a suspected technical problem.
