Slovak ice hockey defenseman Šimon Nemec has welcomed his trade to the Calgary Flames, describing the move as potentially a great fit for his career. The trade marks Nemec's first change of team in the NHL, having spent his entire professional career to date with the New Jersey Devils organization since being drafted in 2022.
