Raiffeisen Bank acquires Romanian Garanti Bank for 591 million euros

Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International has agreed to purchase Romanian bank Garanti for 591 million euros. The acquisition will make the Austrian company the third-largest bank in Romania's financial market.
