Consumer Protection Organization Files Complaints Against Meta, TikTok and Google Over Fraud Prevention

A consumer protection organization based in Poprad has filed formal complaints against major tech platforms Meta, TikTok, and Google, alleging the companies are failing to adequately combat fraud on their services. The organization argues that these social media and internet platforms are not doing enough to protect users from fraudulent activities and scams. The complaints highlight growing concerns about online consumer safety as digital fraud becomes increasingly sophisticated and widespread across major technology platforms used by millions of Slovaks.
