Slovakia May Sell Automatic Grenade Launchers to Azerbaijan

Slovakia is considering selling automatic grenade launchers to Azerbaijan, according to discussions involving Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák. The minister plans to discuss potential drone sales with an Azerbaijani delegation as well. The talks represent part of Slovakia's defense export activities with the South Caucasus nation, which has been modernizing its military capabilities following recent regional conflicts. Azerbaijan has been actively seeking to diversify its weapons suppliers and upgrade its armed forces after the 2020 war with Armenia over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
