European Union Conducts First Exercise on Mutual Defense Response to Major Hybrid Attack

The European Union conducted its first exercise testing how it would activate its mutual defense clause in response to a major hybrid attack. The classified training exercise was designed to strengthen the effectiveness of the EU's collective defense mechanisms.
