Slovak Government Delays Discussion on National Parks Zoning Due to Lack of Expertise
Share:
The Slovak government has not yet discussed the final proposal for zoning four national parks, citing insufficient expertise on the matter. The Ministry of Environment announced that the zoning proposals will be reviewed by the Government's Legislative Council on Tuesday. The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery Plan and Knowledge Economy has issued a statement on the current zoning proposal, while the office has rejected what it calls oversimplification of the national parks zoning issue. The zoning proposals affect four of Slovakia's national parks, though the government has not provided details on which parks are involved or the specific nature of the proposed changes.
