The woman, known only as "Michele," left her home in 2015 at age 22 and has been missing since. German magazine Der Spiegel reported that she had been in long-term contact with modeling agent Daniel Siad, who allegedly had connections to Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. Epstein's case involved allegations of operating an international sex trafficking ring involving underage girls, with court documents continuing to emerge that name various associates and alleged victims connected to his network.
