Firefighters Rescue Mother and Young Son Stranded on Rocky Terrain in Bratislava
Share:
Firefighters from the Dúbravka district of Bratislava rescued a mother and her six-year-old son after the pair became stranded on difficult rocky terrain and were unable to make their way to safety on their own. The rescue unit from Dúbravka, a residential district in the western part of the Slovak capital, responded to the incident and successfully brought both individuals to safety. Such rescues, while not uncommon in areas where urban neighbourhoods border rugged natural landscapes, highlight the role local fire and rescue services play beyond responding to fires, frequently assisting civilians caught in difficult outdoor terrain.
