Young Man Charged After Failing to Aid Victim in Fatal Accident Near Čunovo

A young man has been charged with failing to render assistance following a fatal accident near the Čunovo water reservoir on the outskirts of Bratislava. The incident occurred on Monday at 6:45 p.m. near the Čunovo hydraulic structure, a dam and water management facility located on the Danube river at the southern edge of the Slovak capital. Under Slovak law, failing to provide aid to a person in danger is a criminal offense, and authorities moved to formally charge the individual in connection with the victim's death.
