Slovak Police Urge Swimmers to Keep Valuables in Sight at Public Pools

Share:

Slovak police have issued a public safety reminder ahead of the summer swimming season, advising beachgoers and visitors to public outdoor pools to store their belongings only where they can keep them in direct sight. Officers also reminded the public to check that their vehicles are properly locked before leaving them and to take all valuables with them rather than leaving items unattended in cars. The warnings come as warmer weather draws larger crowds to recreational water facilities, which historically see a rise in petty theft during summer months.
