A Pakistani official named Naqvi has traveled to Iran to help facilitate peace negotiations, according to media reports. The diplomatic mission comes as efforts continue to maintain an April ceasefire that halted fighting which erupted after American and Israeli forces attacked Iran on February 28. The ceasefire has provided a temporary halt to hostilities that developed following the joint military action against Iranian targets.
