Juraj Droba, chairman of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region and vice-president of the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Committee of the Regions, conducted a series of meetings in Brussels focused on the future structure of the European Union budget for 2028 and beyond. The discussions centered on EU funds distribution and strategic investments planning for the next multi-annual financial framework. The Bratislava region, as Slovakia's most economically developed area, is seeking to influence how European funding mechanisms will be structured in the coming years, particularly regarding regional development programs and strategic investment priorities that could affect Central European regions.
