Czech President and Former Slovak President Receive Human Decency Award in Prague

Czech President Petr Pavel and former Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová received the "Decent Person Among Us" award at the Mezi ploty festival in Prague. The award, created by artist Josef Čuban, recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional human decency and moral courage. Previous recipients include nuclear physicist Dana Drábová, Colonel Otakar Foltýn, and actor Ondřej Vetchý. Čaputová served as Slovakia's president from 2019 to 2024 and was known for her pro-European stance and commitment to democratic values before leaving office earlier this year.
