Transcarpathia Express Trains Between Košice and Mukachevo Suspended

Railway services between Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city, and Mukachevo in western Ukraine have been suspended starting Monday due to construction work at Čop station. The cancellation affects four Transcarpathia express trains - R 960, R 962, R 963, and R 965 - along the entire route connecting the eastern Slovak city with the Ukrainian border town. The affected trains typically provide cross-border passenger service between Slovakia and Ukraine's Transcarpathian region. Wednesday and Thursday services have already been confirmed as cancelled, with the suspension continuing from Monday as maintenance work proceeds at the border station.
