Drunk Driver Crashes with Blood Alcohol Over 2.3 Promille, Faces Prison Charges
Share:
A drunk driver crashed his vehicle after getting behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level exceeding 2.3 promille, more than four times Slovakia's legal limit of 0.5 promille. Police have charged the driver with a criminal offense following the accident. Under Slovak law, driving with such an extreme level of intoxication can result in imprisonment, as authorities treat cases with blood alcohol levels above 1.5 promille as serious criminal matters rather than administrative violations.
