An Iranian naval vessel has been anchored at an Indian port since early March due to technical problems. The IRIS Lavan has remained docked at Kochi port in southwestern India since March 4, where it is undergoing repairs. The extended stay of the Iranian warship in Indian waters comes at a time when international tensions over Iran's military activities remain high, though India has historically maintained diplomatic and economic ties with Iran despite Western sanctions.
