Progressive Slovakia (PS) is the liberal, pro-European party of Prime Minister Robert Fico's main opposition and holds seats on Bratislava's city council. The critic, identified as Púchovský, raised concerns about the project and referenced the Slovak National Party (SNS), a right-wing nationalist party currently part of the ruling coalition in the national government, in connection with the development. The Dražiak lake area is a popular recreational destination in the Slovak capital, and the project's scale and funding have raised questions about transparency and political influence over city spending decisions.
