The 32nd edition of the ART FILM International Film Festival Košice will screen twelve acclaimed films from the world's four most prestigious film festivals from the past year. The festival, scheduled for June 19-25, 2026, will feature Pedro Almodóvar's tragicomedy that received a nine-minute standing ovation at Cannes, Jane Schoenbrun's slasher horror starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson that won the Queer Palm, and a family drama with Juliette Binoche that earned the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. The lineup includes Sandra Hüller's exceptional performance in a stark black-and-white historical film, Olive Nwosu's debut about a Nigerian taxi driver honored at Sundance, and a sensitive portrayal of aging in Tangier that resonated at the Venice Film Festival. The ART FILM Festival is one of Slovakia's premier cultural events, bringing internationally acclaimed cinema to the eastern Slovak city and providing audiences access to the year's most celebrated works from Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, and Venice.
