Australian Citizens Linked to Islamic State in Syria Planning Return Home

Australian citizens with connections to the Islamic State terrorist organization in Syria are planning to return to their home country. Interior Minister Tony Burke explained that the government has very limited options to prevent its own citizens from returning to Australia. Burke emphasized that the government is not providing any assistance to these individuals and will not help facilitate their return.
