Children Bring WWII Grenade Home from Forest, Bomb Squad Called
Share:
A pyrotechnics expert was called to neutralize a World War II-era grenade after children found it in a forest and brought it home. The ordnance disposal specialist took possession of the grenade for safe decommissioning. Unexploded munitions from World War II are occasionally discovered in Slovakia, which saw significant military activity during the conflict, and such finds require trained professionals to handle safely.
