Slovak Students Reach World Finals in Hydrogen Vehicle Competition

Students from a technical secondary school in Bratislava have achieved international recognition in a global hydrogen-powered vehicle competition. The team, known as ADLERMOTORS, represented the Karol Adler Secondary School of Electrical Engineering at the H2 Grand Prix world finals for hydrogen automobiles. The school is administered by the Bratislava Self-Governing Region, the regional authority responsible for education and infrastructure in the Bratislava area. The students' performance placed them among the top competitors worldwide in the contest, which challenges young engineers to design and race hydrogen-powered vehicles — a technology seen as central to the future of clean transportation. The achievement highlights the growing strength of vocational and technical education in Slovakia, where regional governments have invested in schools that prepare students for careers in engineering and emerging green technologies.
