Most Slovaks Drive to Visit Family But Often Skip Travel Insurance

The vast majority of Slovaks — 85 percent — travel by car when visiting relatives, but many do so without adequate travel insurance coverage. Despite the car being the dominant mode of transport for family visits, a significant portion of Slovak travelers overlook the importance of insuring themselves and their vehicles for such journeys, leaving themselves financially exposed in the event of accidents or other incidents on the road.
