Ukrainian refugees living in Slovakia since Russia's invasion shared their perspectives on their adopted country in a group discussion. Seven Ukrainians - four women and three men - discussed their observations about Slovak society, noting that while the rule of law is stronger than in Ukraine, the cost of living presents challenges. The refugees also commented on cultural differences, including Slovaks' eating habits during social visits, highlighting the adjustment process as they build new lives in Slovakia.
