Slovakia's Education Ministry Has No Plans to Restructure Summer School Holidays

Slovakia's Ministry of Education has no plans to change the length or structure of the summer school holidays, despite growing concerns about climate change bringing increasingly intense heat during June and September. The traditional summer break, which runs through July and August, has come under scrutiny as rising temperatures make the shoulder months of the school year increasingly uncomfortable for students and teachers. However, the ministry has indicated it will not alter the existing schedule for the time being.
