Hezbollah Fires Rockets at Israel Over Alleged Ceasefire Violation

Share:

Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel, citing alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides. The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been in effect since April 16. The rocket attack represents an escalation in tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group that effectively controls southern Lebanon, maintains a significant military presence. Ceasefire violations and retaliatory actions have been a recurring pattern in the volatile relationship between Israel and Hezbollah, which last fought a major war in 2006.
