Hungary Introduces Fuel Price Caps to Combat Rising Costs

Share:

The Hungarian government has imposed price ceilings on gasoline and diesel fuel to limit sharp increases in fuel prices. Under the new caps, gasoline will cost a maximum of 595 forints (1.51 euros) per liter, while diesel will be capped at 615 forints (1.56 euros) per liter. The measure represents the government's attempt to shield consumers from volatile energy costs that have been rising across Central Europe.
