The discourse around delayed parenthood in Slovakia remains focused primarily on women postponing motherhood, while societal expectations and messaging largely ignore the role of men in family planning decisions. Research shows that advancing paternal age can contribute to various health complications for children, yet public health campaigns and social pressure continue to target women almost exclusively when addressing declining birth rates and later parenthood trends.
