Pope Leo XIV Calls for Church Unity During Barcelona Visit

Pope Leo XIV declared that the Church should serve as a witness to unity in society during his visit to Barcelona. The pontiff met with Catalan leadership following his arrival in the Spanish city and planned an evening prayer vigil with young people at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. The highlight of the papal visit will be a mass at the iconic Sagrada Família basilica, one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks and a masterpiece of Catalan modernist architecture.
