Bratislava Region Advances Major Cultural Heritage Restoration Programme

The Bratislava Self-Governing Region has made significant progress in restoring cultural heritage sites and modernising cultural facilities under its administration during the 2022–2026 period. The regional authority, one of Slovakia's eight self-governing regions responsible for managing public services and cultural institutions at the local level, has completed or advanced to final stages several major restoration and modernisation projects across its network of cultural facilities. The initiative reflects a broader effort by regional governments in Slovakia to preserve historical assets while adapting them to contemporary public use.
