British rock legends The Cure will open the 30th anniversary edition of Slovakia's Pohoda Festival with a concert on July 8, less than a month away. The band has been touring European summer festivals since June 5, starting with Barcelona's Primavera Sound, followed by Portugal's North Festival, and Austria's Nova Rock on June 12. However, early performances on the tour have received mixed reviews, raising questions about the band's current form ahead of their headline slot at one of Central Europe's most prominent music festivals. Pohoda Festival, held annually in Trenčín, is celebrating its milestone 30th year and attracts tens of thousands of music fans from across the region.
