New cycling path section to connect Strednica with Osturňa junction in Žďiar

A new section of the cycling Path Around the Tatras will be constructed in Žďár, connecting Strednica with the junction leading to Osturňa. The Path Around the Tatras is a long-distance cycling route that circles the Tatra Mountains, a major mountain range on the Slovak-Polish border that attracts thousands of tourists annually. The expansion will improve cycling infrastructure in the High Tatras region, which has become increasingly popular with recreational cyclists and mountain bike enthusiasts visiting one of Slovakia's most important tourist destinations.
