Russian security forces detain German woman with homemade bomb

Russian security forces detained a German woman carrying a homemade bomb in the southern city of Pyatigorsk. Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) claimed it had uncovered a planned attack on a security services facility in the region. The FSB, which is Russia's main domestic intelligence agency and successor to the Soviet KGB, said the woman was found with the improvised explosive device in her backpack.
