Imprisoned Iranian Nobel Laureate Mohammadi in Critical Condition After Heart Attack

Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi is in critical condition after suffering a heart attack while imprisoned, according to her brother. He warned that medical care in the prison where she is being held is inadequate. Mohammadi, a prominent human rights activist, was awarded the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her advocacy for human rights and freedom for all.
