Public Invited to Donate Blood at Summer 'Holiday Drop' Campaign

A public blood donation event, dubbed 'Holiday Drop of Blood,' is being held in Slovakia, giving residents an opportunity to donate during the summer season. The campaign follows a successful March edition held at the Prešov Self-Governing Region offices, where donors collectively gave more than ten liters of blood. Organized blood donation drives of this kind play an important role in maintaining adequate blood supplies, which typically face pressure during holiday periods when regular donors are often unavailable.
