Restoration of Krásna Hôrka Castle Remains Stalled with Unknown Completion Date

The restoration of Krásna Hôrka Castle continues to face delays, with the completion date remaining uncertain and costs estimated at least 17 million euros. Procurement preparations are expected to begin in June or July. The medieval castle in eastern Slovakia has been undergoing restoration efforts following damage from a fire in 2012 that destroyed much of the historic structure. The project has encountered numerous delays and cost overruns, making it one of Slovakia's most troubled heritage restoration projects.
