Slovak Highway Operators Complete Spring Cleaning After Winter Salt Use

Slovakia's highway maintenance crews have completed their spring cleaning operations, removing debris and residue left by winter road salting across the country's highway network. The operators used more than 30,000 tons of de-icing materials during the past winter season to keep roads safe for traffic. The spring cleaning process involves removing salt residue and other winter-related debris that accumulates on highway surfaces after months of winter maintenance operations.
