Tehran Court Rejects Filmmaker Panahi's Appeal Against Prison Sentence

A Tehran court has rejected an appeal by Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi against his prison sentence. Panahi has been imprisoned twice before, serving terms in 2010 and from 2022 to 2023. He was released from his most recent imprisonment following a hunger strike protest.
