IAEA Reports Half of Iran's Enriched Uranium Stockpile Located in Isfahan

The International Atomic Energy Agency has disclosed that approximately half of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile is located in the city of Isfahan. The UN nuclear watchdog estimates that before the first Israeli and United States attack on Iran last year, Tehran possessed 440.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity. This level of enrichment brings Iran significantly closer to the 90 percent purity threshold required for weapons-grade nuclear material, raising international concerns about the country's nuclear program despite Iranian claims that its activities are for peaceful purposes only.
