A naval drone exploded at the port of Constanta in Romania, damaging an industrial facility belonging to a private company. Emergency services responded to the incident, which caused no casualties according to initial reports. Romania's Defense Ministry confirmed the drone did not belong to the Romanian military and identified it as a type used in the ongoing war in Ukraine. The explosion occurred at one of Romania's major Black Sea ports, located near the border with Ukraine where naval drone attacks have become common since Russia's invasion began in February 2022.
