European Wholesale Gas Prices Fall to Two-Month Low
Share:
Wholesale natural gas prices in Europe have dropped to their lowest level in two months, with the price at the TTF trading hub in Amsterdam — the continent's benchmark gas market — falling to €40.04 per megawatt-hour. The TTF (Title Transfer Facility) hub serves as the primary reference point for European gas pricing and is closely watched as an indicator of energy costs across the continent. Falling gas prices can ease pressure on household energy bills and industrial energy costs throughout Europe, including Slovakia, which remains dependent on gas imports for heating and electricity generation.
